Bang Bang Chicken Recipe
You will need...
Ingredients
2 tablespoons of our Great Northern Spice Bang Bang Seasoning
2 large boneless chicken breasts
1 spring onion for serving (finely chopped)
1 red bell pepper (finely sliced)
Rice or noodles to serve
Other healthy options you can include are green beans, carrots, broccoli and courgette.
For the Bang Bang sauce
8 tablespoons light mayonnaise
4 tablespoons sweet chilli sauce (low sugar)
1 tablespoon Siracha (or chilli garlic sauce)
How to cook
Score the chicken breasts in a crisscross shape then sprinkle the chicken breasts on both sides with our Great Northern Spice Mix Bang Bang seasoning. Add to the air fryer along with the peppers, then prep the sauce.
In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, sweet chilli sauce and siracha. Spoon half of the sauce over the chicken breasts, then air fry for 20 minutes on 190℃.
Once thoroughly cooked, serve on a bed of rice or noodles and spoon over the remainder of the bang bang sauce. Sprinkle over the spring onion and enjoy!
