Salt N Pepper Chicken & Chips Recipe


You will need...


Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons of our Great Northern Spice Chinese Salt N Pepper Seasoning

  • 4 large boneless and skinless chicken thighs, diced

  • 1 tablespoon rapeseed oil (or olive oil)

  • 1/2 red bell pepper thinly sliced

  • 1/2 green bell pepper thinly sliced

  • 2 spring onion, diced

  • 2-3 large Maris Piper potatoes, cut into chips or frozen chips


How to cook - oven option

  1. Preheat your oven to 180℃.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, add your cut chips, splash of oil and 2 teaspoons of our Salt N Pepper Seasoning. Mix well, then spread out on a non-stick baking tray.

  3. In the same bowl, add your chicken, splash some oil over and sprinkle the rest of the seasoning. Mix well ensuring all the chicken is covered.

  4. Add to a non-stick baking tray and oven cook for 20-25 minutes on 180℃. Turn over the chicken and chips halfway through cooking.

  5. With 15 minutes to go, add the peppers.

  6. With a few minutes to go, sprinkle over the spring onion. Serve the chicken and chips stacked high.

How to cook - air fryer option (chicken only)

  1. In a large bowl, add your chicken, splash some oil over and sprinkle the rest of the seasoning. Mix well ensuring all the chicken is covered.

  2. Add the chicken and peppers to your air fryer and cook for 20 minutes on 200℃, shuffling halfway through.

  3. Sprinkle over the spring onion with a few minutes to go, then enjoy!
