Thai Style Turkey Mince

Thai Style Turkey Mince Recipe


What you'll need...


Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons of our Great Northern Spice Thai Stir Fry Seasoning

  • 500g turkey mince

  • 1 tablespoon olive or rapeseed oil

  • 1 small onion, sliced very finely

  • 1 red pepper, thinly sliced

  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic

  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger

  • 1 red chilli (finely chopped)

  • 2 tablespoons Thai fish sauce

  • Sping onion to garnish

  • Your choice of carbs (noodles or jasmine rice)

How to cook

  1. In a mixing bowl, mix in 1 tablespoon of our Thai Stir Fry Blend with the turkey mince.

  2. Heat oil in pan on medium heat. Add the diced onions and red pepper, then sauté until they start to turn light brown. Approx 4-5 mins.

  3. Add the ginger, garlic and chilli and stir fry for another minute.

  4. Tip in the mince, break it up with a wooden spoon then stir fry until cooked through - 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  5. Turn the heat down to low, then add the fish sauce and sweetener or sugar, stir in well and leave for 1 minute.

  6. Add in your noodles (cooked to your packet instructions) and stir fry for a further 3 mins. Alternatively, serve with your own choice of side (jasmine rice or salad), and garnish with spring onion. Enjoy!
